The idea has become widely popular and charcuterie boards are now commonly accepted as an assortment of meats, cheeses, artisan breads, olives, fruit, and nuts, with careful attention to artful presentation. 

 

At Bayou in the Pines, we believe that preparing delicious food is as much an art as it is a science. Food is meant to be enjoyed not only for the way it tastes, but also for its beautiful presentation. These ideals were impressed upon Chef Adam throughout his career and he puts as much care into the way his food looks as it tastes.

We love everything that a good charcuterie board is. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Careful attention to the pairing of foods. Artful details and arrangements. Food to be enjoyed with others.

We would love to put together one of our beautiful Bayou Boards for you! Our Boards perfectly accompany any gathering from family game night to an office lunch to a baby or bridal shower or a larger party. We can accommodate larger events, like weddings, with custom displays at your venue on a table or similar.

Chef Adam's deconstructed muffuletta sandwich is the highlight of our Signature Board along with brie cheese with bacon jam, homemade sweet & spiced pecans, pickled vegetables, and assorted toast and crackers.

Bayou Fruit and Veggie Board

Colorful fruits and veggies are the highlight of this board. Enjoy stuffed sweet peppers, pickled veggies, and seasonal fruits with dips. Proteins include hummus and our signature sweet & spiced pecans.

Bayou Holiday Board

Our Holiday Board is full of festive touches that are as beautiful as they are delicious! Enjoy brie with Christmas jelly, sugared pecans and cranberries, cured meats & cheeses, and other seasonal fruits, goodies, and decorations.

Chef's Choice Board

Share your budget and number of guests, along with any must have ingredients, and Chef Adam will put his creativity to work. Your board will include a variety of cured meats and cheeses, veggies, seasonal fruits, and other goodies. We can customize these to coordinate with your theme.

Our Bayou Boil Board includes jumbo shrimp, smoked sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob, with homemade cocktail sauce. Consider adding crawfish or crab legs for an extra special treat!

Bayou Sweets Board

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a combination of chocolates and candies, mini tarts or cheesecakes, seasonal fresh fruit with dip, cookies, and fruit topped goat cheese. Contact us for custom add-ons to include your favorite dessert!

Things to Consider...

  • Each board we make is a culinary work of art and no two will look exactly the same! The photos provided are meant to serve as an inspiration and to showcase some of our past creations. If there are any specific ingredients or techniques that you love from these photos, please let us know so we can be sure to include them on your board!
     

  • Our boards vary depending on the meats, cheeses and accoutrements that are freshly available and in season.  We promise that each one is delicious and beautiful since they are made fresh to order with the highest quality ingredients.
     

  • Please note any allergies or dietary restrictions when placing your order. We do take steps to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, but please know that we cannot guarantee that your food is free from all allergens.
     

  • We recommend eating your board on the day you receive it as some cut fruits and veggies don't hold well and items like crackers and nuts start to soften. Our boards should be refrigerated until ready to serve. If you would like to extend the life of your board after serving, remove the fruit and wrap your cheeses and meats individually to store. Put crackers, nuts, cookies, and similar in airtight containers.|
     

  • Some notes about our platters...

    • For your convenience, our boards are created on a disposable platter, which is included in the pricing above.

    • We do have an assortment of beautiful wooden boards with pottery/glass serving pieces that can be rented. Pricing varies on the pieces used and mileage for pickup.

    • We are happy to use your platters, provided the sizing and layout is suitable and it is a food-safe material. In this case, we will ask you to deliver your platter(s) to us at least 48 hours prior to your event for assembly.

    • We can also offer new platters (typically wood) that you can keep after your event. Pricing for this option starts at $50 and varies depending on the size and material.
       

  • Host provides all serving utensils, plates, paper goods, etc. We recommend a variety of cocktail forks, spoons, and spreaders.
